UPDATE: Two people are recovering in the hospital after being shot this evening in Church Point.
The shooting happened around 5 p.m. at the town’s Martin Luther King Park.
Police say one male victim was shot in the lower leg, and the other male victim was shot in the back with the bullet exiting his armpit.
According to a spokesman with the police department, officers are questioning people at this time, but no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
