A wanted juvenile has been arrested in connection with various burglaries, thefts, and other crimes in the Crowley, Meadows/ Kathy Apartments areas.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office says that the juvenile was located and arrested. At the time of the arrest, deputies say that he was armed with a firearm. He was taken into custody without incident.
The juvenile has been placed in a juvenile detention facility and is awaiting further actions by the court. Warrants from the Crowley Police Department and the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office were also served during the arrest.
Sheriff Gibson says that the juvenile and others have been causing problems in the area.
