The football game between Notre Dame and Newman had to be delayed in the fourth quarter after reports of shots fired near the stadium.
Fans posted on their social media accounts that the players were taken off of the field and some fans even left the stadium. The teams were able to play out the final three minutes of the game after the all-clear was given.

Crowley Police Chief Jimmy Broussard says the shooting happened in an apartment complex about six blocks away from the stadium.
No injuries are being reported at this time.
