The 30th Annual Le Cajun Awards and Music Festival is wrapping up in Rayne.
The three-day event, hosted by the Cajun French Music Association, started Thursday evening at the La Poussiere’s in Breaux Bridge and continued through today at the Rayne Civic Center.
The festival is the only in the state that showcases traditional Cajun French music and honors the musicians who play and create it.
The annual event honors those musicians for their endeavors to elevate Cajun music over the previous year.
Attendees were treated to live music from several different Cajun musicians.
There were food and drinks for those who worked up an appetite on the dance floor.
