The mass will be held tonight, Friday, August 3 at 6:00 pm at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Richard. The mass, held each year by the Friends of Charlene Richard Association, is in honor of Charlene Richard who is known as the "Little Cajun Saint." Charlene’s brother and the hospital chaplain who stayed by her side during the final days of her life will speak of her spirit and how it has touched so many lives.

Richard’s grave has become a place of pilgrimage for thousands of people each year.
