It was a cloudy day in Acadiana and our viewer snapped some great pictures of the weather as it passed through.
According to KATC Chief Meteorologist Rob Perillo the clouds are Undulatus Asperatus . They were associated with the cold air aloft with the disturbance that pushed though on Saturday that also gave us pea sized hail.
Pockets of cold air give the clouds that very intense look in the sky.
