LAFAYETTE, La. – Louisiana recently received a six million dollar grant to fight the opioid epidemic.
Lafayette is home to one of seven Lake Wellness Outpatient Addiction Centers across the state working to help those struggling with addiction to break free.
“We offer intensive outpatient treatment which includes outpatient detox, so medically-assisted detox, which no other facility does at this time,” said Kevin Miller, Admissions Coordinator. “We can get people feeling better faster without having to miss work or be away from their families.”
The center is located at 4540 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Suite C110.
