37 restaurants took part in the 15th Annual Taste of Acadiana held at the Cajundome Convention Center on Wednesday, July 24.
The event's proceeds benefit American Legion Post 241 and 225 along with the Acadiana Apartment Association.
Several well-known restaurants such as Imonelli's and Uncle T's returned this year to serve some of their signature dishes. New restaurants were also included in this year's lineup, including Chopsticks.
Entertainment was provided by Lisa Trahan and T'Galop.
Rhonda Lorio, Taste of Acadiana chairman, explains that the proceeds go to good causes and that the fundraiser is "very important."
"Funds help the American Legion, which goes to help our vets...they also do youth programs through their organizations. The Acadiana Apartment Association...funds classes for anti-discrimination laws."
