CROWLEY, La. — The staff at the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office returned to their office building on Tuesday.

The sheriff's office is still closed to the public, but they are taking your calls.

Sheriff K.P. Gibson says they are monitoring the current situation with safety and economy in mind.

"Our mayors and our police jury are working and trying to see us do a slow reopening of our businesses," said Gibson. "A lot of that has to deal with the fact of will another executive order come out through the governor's office, which we're still waiting to see should another one come out and to what limits it will be."
