CROWLEY, La. - Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people early Friday morning in Crowley.
The shooting happened at 6:32 am on May 8 on E. Lawson Street. Chief Jimmy Broussard said the suspect fired multiple shots at the victims and then fled the scene.
The two victims were transported to a Lafayette hospital. One victim is undergoing surgery, and the other is in guarded condition, according to Broussard.
Police are searching for the suspected shooter.
The investigation is ongoing.
