A Rayne organization is planning a peaceful rally for the city's youth on June 20.

Spread Some Love Youth Activism and Enlightenment Organization will be hosting a Youth Rally for Equality and Justice at the Rayne Frog Festival Pavilion from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on June 20.

Organizers say the rally will be focused on promoting peace, justice, and youth activism and empowerment.

Organization founder, 10-year-old Amiyah Rose Jones-Settle, is a Rayne native who has recognized a need for increased unity within her community. She believes that young people must be involved in bringing about positive change.

Everyone is welcome. The rally will include demonstrations, singing, dancing, and praying.

Participants are asked to wear masks and bring signs with uplifting messages.
