Rayne Police are investigating a Monday night shooting that injured two.
Police were called to the 400 Block of Section St around 10:30 p.m. Monday, November 16 after receiving several call about rapidly fired gunshots.
According to detectives, a vehicle carrying an 8-month old infant, an 18-year-old female and two adult males was traveling on Section St when a shooter or shooters fired into the vehicle striking both adult males.
The driver drove to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
The other male passenger was listed in critical condition, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing and police say that no arrests have been made.
