A food distribution drive scheduled for Monday February 15th in Rayne has been canceled.
Organizers say the distribution, a collaboration between Faith Missionary Baptist Church and Second Harvest food bank, will not be held due to weather concerns. A later food distribution date on February 22 is still scheduled.
The drive on the 22nd will be from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Frog Festival Grounds (Pavillion) at 210 Frog Festival Drive in Rayne.
Boxes will be placed in trunks of vehicles. If boxes need to be placed in rear seats, organizers ask that face masks be worn by vehicle occupants.
