Police Chief: Woman wanted for attempted homicide arrested in Alexandria

CROWLEY, La. - A woman wanted for attempted homicide has been arrested.

On Monday September 14, 2020, members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Taskforce located and apprehended attempted homicide suspect Laquaishia "Kosha" Johnson in Alexandria, Louisiana, according to Chief of Police Jimmy Broussard.

Johnson was wanted by the Crowley Police Department on warrants for five counts of attempted second degree homicide.

Police say Johnson was also being sought by other law enforcement agencies on several non-related felony warrants.

Johnson was extradited back to the Acadia Parish Jail after her arrest in Alexandria.
