A woman has died following a crash on La Hwy 35 north of Rayne Tuesday morning.
Rayne Chief of Police Carroll J. Stelly says his department is investigating the three-vehicle crash which occurred around 6:40 am on October 27.
Police say they remain on the scene on Hwy 35 North near Sills Addition.
According to Stelly, the crash involved three vehicles, including a concrete truck.
The crash remains under investigation and the identity of the victim will not been released until the notification of the next of kin is complete, he says.
