Crowely Police have arrested a local man in connection with an April drive-by shooting.

Ronald Felix Jr., 29, was booked with two counts attempted first-degree murder, assault by drive-by shooting, illegal concealed carrying of a weapon, illegal possession of a stolen weapon, and illegal possession of stolen things. He remains in the Acadia Parish jail with bond set at $595,000.

He was booked on a warrant issued in connection with an April 7 incident on West Fourth Street in Crowley, police say.

Police allege that Felix and someone who lived on that street had been in an argument, and Felix fired into the house. Two people were inside the home at the time, but nobody was hurt, police say.

Investigators identified Felix as the suspect and obtained a warrant, but since that time Felix has been avoiding capture, police say. He was located and arrested early on November 25, police say.
