Located just outside the town limits of Church Point in Acadia Parish you will find ICCR Dairy Farm.

Carlyn and Richard Shirley started the goat farm in their backyard about 18 months ago.

Since opening they have expanded their operation as they now have more than 2 dozen goats, 14 of which that they milk daily.

On a normal day they will get about 5-7 gallons of milk from their goats.

At their facility they have all the equipment to then chill, pasteurize and bottle the milk.

In the beginning, customers would have to stop by the farm to pick up a half gallon of goat's milk. But now, ICCR Farm's milk can be found in four Acadiana stores.

The next time you are shopping at the Piggy Wiggly or Rod's in Church Point or either of the NuNu's locations in Youngsville and Scott, you can now find their goat milk.

The Shirley's hope to keep growing and would like to get to about 40 goats.

They are happy to have visitors stop by their farm to pet their goats and learn about the benefits of goat milk.

Also, Shirley says "we do field trips. If you are interested in that (teachers) just message us and they will set up a day."
