CROWLEY — The Acadia Parish School Board is in good financial standing this fiscal year.
According to the board's auditor, who was present during the Budget and Finance Committee meeting Monday night, the board projected $80.4 million in revenue and collected $80.5 million. The board projected $79.9 million in spending and came in at $79.3 million.
The committee recommended that the audit report be accepted by the full board when it meets Monday.
According to Superintendent Scott Richard, the board is on track as they make midyear budget adjustments and prepare the budget for the next fiscal year.
The committee also recommended that the board conduct a sale of equipment that's no longer of use to the school system at the APEC Building on May 7.
