LSUE students received their diplomas Saturday morning.
The Commencement ceremonies were held on campus in the South Commons area of the Acadian Center with five other satellite venues sprinkled throughout campus. When degrees were conferred, graduates went to the Acadian Center, walked across the stage, and left.
Each graduate was allowed two family members to participate in the festivities while a simulcast from the main stage was shown to all of the satellite venues.
In attendance were Dr. Nancee Sorenson, LSUE Chancellor, and Mary Werner, member of the LSU Board of Supervisors. Werner received the LSU Eunice Medal of Excellence as well as an honorary degree from the school.
Graduation ceremonies were live streamed on LSUE's Facebook page. You can watch that here.
