Louisiana State Police Troop I is investigating a fatal crash that took the life of an Acadia Parish man on Thursday.
Police say the incident took place around 5:20 p.m. on LA Hwy 13 near Airport Rd.
The crash took the life of 26-year-old Harley Romine of Kaplan.
Police say the crash occurred as Romine was driving northbound on Hwy 13. His vehicle ran off the road and the car turned over several times. Romine was unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle. Acadia Parish Coroner's Office pronounced Romine deceased on scene.
Impairment is unknown and a toxicology sample was obtained for analysis.
The crash remains under investigation.
