RAYNE, La. - A 23-year-old Lafayette man is accused of attempted murder after a Wednesday night shooting in Rayne.
According to police, the shooting happened July 1 at 7:19 p.m. near Venable's Grocery Store.
The victim of the shooting sustained minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
Today, Rayne officers arrested Torian Jarel LeBlanc for one count of attempted second degree murder.
LeBlanc is being held on a $400,000 bond.
