The Eunice Police Department is currently searching for a man who is armed and on the run.
Police Chief Randy Fontenot confirmed that officers were responding to a domestic incident on the 900 block of North 5th Street in Eunice when the man fled.
Chad Manuel is described as a white male, bald, and wearing blue jeans.
Police believe he is in the area between North 4th and 7th streets.
An officer pursued Manuel but he fled the scene.
Police say he is facing charges for outstanding warrants and will possibly face additional charges.
Officers say Manuel has a handgun in his possession.
