Members of the Faith Christian Worship Center in Eunice cooked and delivered more than 300 hot meals to evacuees staying in local hotels today.

"We have organized this that you see and about a hundred people helping us, a hundred of our church members, who are gong to feed upwards five to six hundred evacuees a hot meal," said Pastor Heather Ardoin. "So we are barbecuing hamburgers and we are going to deliver them to the hotels. Barbecue hamburgers, chips, drinks, and deserts for every one of the evacuees staying at the hotels locally."

"Some of these families only get the continental breakfast offered at some of the hotels, and that's all they eat for the entire day. Today we are going to bless them with more," Ardoin said.
