ACADIA — UPDATE: Entergy says that crews have found the issue and all customers should have power restored shortly.
Before Barry even makes it to land, a few residents in Acadia Parish began experiencing power outages related to the storm starting at 9:30 pm Friday.
According to Entergy, nearly 500 customers are without power at this time. Comments from Entergy states that the outage may be in relation to Tropical Storm Barry.
The area affected is in between Crowley and Rayne.
Crews are out patrolling the area to find and correct the issue. There is no timeline on when power will be restored.
