In Acadia Parish, voters in Rayne sent the City Marshal race to a run-off.
Stacy Ancelet and Alex "Joe" LaCroix will face off.
Ancelet got 31.59 percent or 1,832 votes, and LaCroix got 21.56 percent or 1,250.
Also running were Danny Lee Burleigh, who got 10.35 percent or 600 votes, Jamie Conques, who got 19.42 percent or 1,126 votes and Brad Ware, who got 17.09 percent or 991 votes.
Parish voters approved the sports betting proposition, 61.53% to 38.47%
Voters in the Bayou Mallet Gravity Drainage District agreed to continue a 5.04-mill tax that raises about $370,500 annually for another 10 years, 67 to 33 percent.
