Drive-thru disaster recovery center reopens in Rayne

FEMA's drive-thru Disaster Recovery Center in Acadia Parish has reopened on Monday.

The center located at the Southside Community Center in Rayne was closed temporarily due to Hurricane Delta and was expected to reopen on Wednesday.

The disaster recovery center opened October 12, at 8:00 am and will close at 5:00 pm.

Centers in Calcasieu, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides and Vernon Parishes are also reopening on Monday.

Those in Alexandria, Dry Prong, Leesville, Many, Jena reopened at 8 am.

The Centers in Lake Charles and Sulphur will reopen at 1:00 pm for Hurricane Laura survivors.

The centers are open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT daily, unless otherwise noted above, ground conditions permitting. Other centers are set to open later this week. Survivors may visit any open center in the state.
