UPDATE: APSO says Authement has been found and is safe.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Church Point Police Department say they are asking for the public’s assistance regarding a welfare concern.
20-year-old Casey Authement of Church Point reportedly left of his own free will during the late evening hours of April 6.
Authement is described as being 5’ 10” and 165 lbs. with a thin build, brown hair and blue eyes.
Deputies say he was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, black shorts and black tennis shoes.
Anyone knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact police dispatch at 337-788-8772.
