Residents in Crowley gathered Tuesday evening for a community walk.

Those who attended gathered at the Martin Luther King Center and began to walk in protest of police brutality.

Marchers say the protest is a statement against injustice.

"This is not a black versus white thing," explained activist Devon Norman with The Village. "This is a right versus injustice thing. This is us saying that if everybody comes together and stops this genocide on black people by the police, then we would stop the genocide on all people by the police."
