A Crowley man who was arrested in connection with a July 3rd shooting is now facing additional attempted murder charges in connection with another July shooting.

Crowley Police say that on July 27, 2020, officers responded to shots fired in the 1800 block of the Harry Fusilier Road in Crowley.

Officers say they received information that 19-year-old Deondre Felix was directly involved and was allegedly seen in the area during that time. Officers with the Crowley Police Department located and collected over 20 expended shell casing at the scene. The recently discovered evidence, they say, that connects Felix to the July 27 shooting.

Felix was charged with 5 counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder because of his alleged involvement in that shooting.

Felix is currently facing separate criminal charges of 5 counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder because of his alleged involvement in a July 3, 2020, shooting at the West Wood Apartments.

The case is currently ongoing.

The Crowley Police Department encourages citizens to come forward with any additional information they may have.
