Police are investigating a Thursday morning shooting that happened in the 1500 block of West Hutchinson Avenue in Crowley.
One man was injured when he was shot once, according to Crowley Police Chief Jimmy Broussard.
The victim was transported by helicopter to a regional hospital where he remains in stable condition.
The suspect, Shedrick Robinson, of Crowley, was identified as the shooter and turned himself into police the following morning, stated Broussard.
He was later booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for attempted second degree murder.
The investigation is still ongoing.
