UPDATE: The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says the scene is now clear after a gas leak was reported Wednesday in the Richard area.
The gas pipeline has been turned off, according to the sheriff's Office.
Fire crews and deputies were on scene at Degregory and Atteberry Roads.
Those roads have now reopened.
