Coburn's Supply is planning to open a new distribution center this fall in Eunice, the Eunice News reports.
The newspaper says the $2.9 million project will result in a 90,000 square foot facility on the opposite side of La. 13 from the current facility.
Brandon Gobert, a warehouse manager at Coburn's, told the news paper that the facility will make the operations much more efficient. The current distribution building on the west side of La. 13 is 113,000 square feet, but it will be abandoned for the new building, he said.
The new building will use systems that are more efficient, and it will be safer for employees who won't have to cross the highway now, he told the Eunice News.
