Church Point Police are asking for any video from area businesses that may assist in a hit and run investigation.

On Saturday, November 21, at 2 a.m., officers responded to Debbie's Lounge on POW MIA Memorial Drive (Railroad St.) in reference to a hit and run. Witness statements lead police to believe that a black truck, possibly a Chevrolet, hit two parked vehicles. The impact pushed the vehicles into two pedestrians, who both were injured.

After the accident, the vehicle drove towards Main St. Police say the suspect's vehicle should contain significant front damage.

Police are asking for video from businesses in the area that may show the vehicle for a positive identification.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Church Point Police Department at 337-684-5455. The investigation is ongoing.
