The boil advisory has been lifted for those Church Point residents affected.

Some Church Point residents are now under a boil water advisory until further notice.
The town made the announcement on Wednesday, September 2.
The boil advisory will affect the following streets:
- East Plaquemine (from The Station Lounge to past North Brasseaux)
- Leonie
- Barrousse
- Franques
- St. Jude
- North Louis
- North Joel
- Labbie
- Brasseaux
- Delahoussaye
- Lena
- Hamilton
- East Rosella
- Sylvia
- North Ethel
- Jack
- North Huckaby
- Moss street
