The City of Rayne has announced a boil water advisory for some residents.
Officials say that they performed an emergency fire hydrant repair on Tuesday and temporarily lost water pressure.
An advisory is being issued for the areas of East Jeff Davis south to Edwards Street & North Arenas east to Hutchinson Ave.
Customers will be notified when the advisory is lifted once DHH has tested the water.
