All of us are giving up things we love during this pandemic, and one local health provider is sharing his experience to encourage others to hold the line.
Dr. Ty Hargroder, Chief of Staff at Acadia St Landry Hospital, decided he had to shave his goatee, which he has had for 42 years, because it doesn't fit in the N95 masks he has to wear. He used that experience to create a video, asking people to follow his lead and do what is needed to flatten the curve.
"We're all going to have to do things we don't like to do, including me. I have to shave my goatee which i have had since i was 18 years old, because it doesn't fit the mask," Hargroder says. "You do your part, and I'll do mine."
