The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says they will re-open the lobbies at their location on Capitol Road beginning Tuesday, May 12.

The office will open at 8:00 am.

To enter the building beyond the lobby, Sheriff K.P. Gibson says that a protective mask must be worn until further notice.

Lobbies at several local government buildings have been closed to the public following Gov. John Bel Edwards stay-at-home order due to COVID-19.

The Governor is expected to discuss Louisiana's possible reopening at a media briefing on Monday, May 11. The stay-at-home order is set to expire on Friday, May 15.
