BRANCH — The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public's assistance in locating a runaway 13-year-old.
Deputies say Markayla Handy is reported to have left her home in Branch in the morning hours of Monday, January 11, 2021.
She is described as 5’6” tall, and weighing around 150lbs. She has short hair, above shoulder length, last seen straightened, but frequently has them braided.
