The Acadia Parish School System says they will now provide a modified Grab-N-Go meal service beginning Monday, March 30 to students in the parish.

The original meal program was suspended on March 24 following the Governor's stay at home order.

The service will resume at the original five food serving sites between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.

  • Crowley Middle School
  • Armstrong Middle School
  • Church Point Elementary School
  • Iota High School
  • Estherwood Elementary School

The school system will provide multiple meals containing individually wrapped food items to children 18 years of age and under for the week.

The modified plan was approved by the state.

The school system says they will continue to evaluate and assess the program capability regarding distributions following the week of March 30.

Parents are asked to continue to respond to the Emergency-Meals-to-You survey located on the school system website. The survey will close on April 1.
