Voters in several Acadiana parishes will vote on tax propositions during this month's election.
Below is a look at the items on Acadia Parish ballots.
Voters across the parish will consider renewing a property tax that funds the LSU Ag Center.
If renewed, the 10-year tax would raise more than $800,000 to fund the Ag Center and the Rice Arena.
Crowley residents will vote on four property tax renewals on November 16. Those taxes fund fire and police salaries, street maintenance, buildings and drainage maintenance and cemetery maintenance.
Residents in Fire Protection Districts 6 and 9 will also vote on property tax renewals. Those taxes fund operations for those districts.
Meanwhile in Fire Protection District 10, voters will consider a new $25 parcel fee to fund district operations.
Voters in the Iota-Long Point Gravity Drainage District will vote on a property tax renewal. That tax funds drainage maintenance in the district.
