Acadia Parish has declared a State of Emergency ahead of the winter storm.
On Sunday, Police Jury President Chance Henry declared a State of Emergency for Acadia Parish in preparation for incoming inclement winter weather. The declaration was shared via Facebook.
As a result of the declaration, APPJ says that all emergency preparedness plans and resources available to the parish will be utilized to minimize damaging effects.
