A frosty Friday leading to a stormy Saturday

Posted
and last updated

It took a little time but we finally got some sunshine as clouds cleared Thursday morning after what has been a fairly dreary week.

The good news is that the sun will stick around on Friday, however, these sunny skies will be short lived with clouds moving back into the area on Friday night.

Sunshine will help push temperatures right to 60 degrees in the afternoon but a slight breeze coming from the east southeast will keep the wind chill feeling a little cooler than the thermometer reading.

Clouds will start moving in to the area overnight which will keep the temperatures in the upper 40s by early Saturday morning, and those clouds look to stick around for the entire day on Saturday.

A front will move through Saturday evening which will spark a round of showers and thunderstorms that will move through late in the day, and some of that wet weather will stick around into Sunday morning.

The drop in temperature won't be overly dramatic and skies will be sunny again for the start of next work week, again this won't last too long with another front moving through in the middle of the week.
