UPDATE: Meagan Crews, Miss Louisiana Watermelon Festival, is this year’s Miss Louisiana. She was crowned during tonight’s pageant. She will go on to represent the state in the Miss America competition.

The Miss Louisiana pageant will conclude tonight in Monroe with the crowning of the this year’s Miss Louisiana.
Twenty-nine contestants from all over the state are vying for the title of Miss Louisiana and the opportunity to represent the state at Miss America.
The Miss Louisiana Pageant is part of the Miss America Organization, which offers over $45 million dollars in cash and scholarships annually.
The finals will be televised live tonight at 8 p.m. on our sister station The CW.
