American Idol winner and Louisiana native Laine Hardy will be performing at this year’s July 4th celebration in Washington, DC.
Hardy announced on his Twitter page that he will be performing on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol Building for “A Capitol Fourth” which airs on PBS annually.

The 39th annual edition of “A Capitol Fourth” will feature other musicians including Carole King, The Broadway cast of “Beautiful,” violinist Lindsey Stirling, singer-songwriter and actress Keala Settle, Vanessa Williams and the National Symphony Orchestra.
Actor John Stamos will host the celebration.
The broadcast of “A Capitol Fourth” will air on PBS Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. CST.
