“I saw someone down the road helping a person out. So I stopped. I told her I don’t know if I’m going to pull your bumper off, but I’m willing to help,” said Edwards.
Keith Edwards was headed to work when he saw a woman’s sedan stuck in high water at the intersection of Ambassador Caffery and Eraste Landry.
Edwards tethered the woman’s car to his pickup truck and pulled her to safety at a nearby gas station.
“I have to show the love of God at no cost,” said Edwards, adding he hopes anybody who saw his act of kindness would spread the love and help others in need on the road today.
