On Saturday, July 13, KATC will join thousands of volunteers to revitalize eight public schools in Lafayette Parish and tonight the helpline will be open on how the community can get involved.
Watch KATC tonight, June 4 from 4-7p for the helpline phone number to donate and/or to sign up to volunteer, or to get more information.
Beyond improvements to the schools, nearly 5,000 students will receive backpacks filled with school supplies, and more than 600 teachers, and staff will be gifted with much needed supplies.
Created for the purpose of affecting meaningful change, this initiative aims to help foster improved educational outcomes.

Show some love by volunteering your time. We are looking for volunteers to help with the renovation process on Saturday, July 13th. Renovation projects include painting, landscaping, carpentry, cleaning, non-skilled general assistance, and more.
