Police in Central Louisiana have arrested a local teen in connection with a crash Monday morning.
Police say the crash happened Monday at 9:57 a.m. just off of Sullivan Road at the Oschner Medical Complex in Central, Louisiana.
According to WBRZ, the suspect, a 16-year-old, is from St. Landry Parish. Police chief Corcoran says the teen is now in custody.
Central Police were searching for the teen after the stolen pick-up he was driving crashed, flipping several times. He then allegedly fled on foot. Photos show the smashed cab of the truck left on the roadway.
WBRZ reports that the teen was injured following the crash.
