The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office is working a serious crash at 428 Janvier Road near Carencro.
The roadway is closed and some power lines are down, according to Lt. John Mowell.
The fire department is trying to gain access to the driver’s compartment so the victim can be transported to a hospital.
