The Town of Church Point is honoring 21 men who died in service.
Throughout the Memorial Day weekend, a memorial of crosses marked the lives of 21 men, 11 of which were between 18 and 21 years old, who lost their lives fighting for the country.
On Monday, The VFW Post 9903 and American Legion Post 225 held a closing ceremony for the memorial. An honor sentinel patrol watched over the memorial every hour all three days.
The group is honoring the sacrifice of the following men:

The crosses for the memorial were made by local high school students.
