Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 3AM for the western portions of Acadiana as strong storms could move out of Texas and into the region.
Damaging winds and large hail will be the main threats with any of these storms.

Flooding will also be a concern with this round of storms as an additional 1-3 inches of rain is likely with isolated higher spots possible.
Flash flood watches continue across the region until Saturday at 7 PM as any additional rainfall could cause flash flooding.
